Starting lessons:

All In-person lessons are taught at in my home studio in Ballsbridge Dublin 04, near the Meta headquarters building, right by the Sandymount and Landsdowne Road Dart stations.

For first-time lessons, I offer a FREE 20-minute ONLINE trial lesson OR a discounted 1-hour in-person lesson (discount applied is €30).

The first lesson is for both me and the student to get to know each other, while focusing on what the student’s interests and goals are, which helps me form a tailored lesson plan moving forward. Students will get a demonstration of my teaching style and see how I operate my lessons/curriculum so they can make an informed decision before committing to lessons.

Bring your pick and guitar — Students must come prepared with their instrument! For electric guitarists, an amp and cable will be provided at the studio space. If students need to borrow a guitar, no problem, but they should inform me ahead of the lesson.

Lesson cancellation — A 24-hour notice is required in order for the student NOT to be charged for a lesson. Due to lesson demand, I operate a tight schedule, therefore last-minute cancellations impact my teaching schedule and the availability I offer students. Of course, sick days & emergencies happen, which I make exceptions for. If a 24-hour notice is provided, I will follow up with makeup lesson options for the student.

Lessons Packages — Lesson packages MUST be used within their specified period (4-week or bi-weekly). In the event of a cancellation, lessons must be rescheduled within a 7-day period from the previously scheduled date. Due to lesson demand, a make-up lesson will NOT be provided for more than one cancellation in a lesson package.

Payment Processing — I take all payments for lessons via direct Bank transfer. Payments must be made PRIOR to a scheduled lesson(s). However, it’s understandable if payments take up to or more than 24 hours to transfer, in which case I ask for a bank receipt to be provided for proof that a transfer has been initiated.

Waiting Room - Parents/guardians/friends are welcome to accompany a student. Parents/guardians must accompany minors to a lesson space, no exceptions!

The studio room is small and there isn’t enough room for others to sit in on lessons. However, a seated waiting area is right outside the studio room for parents/guardians/friends to wait.
